— Good Grief! —

The Archivist presents Good Grief! an exhibit of art that brings us into the fray of what it means to grieve in a time where our own reflection appears distant in the very palm of our hand. Good Grief! as an expression is a minced oath, an oxymoron, an attestation. Here it is a collection of raw expressions, regrets, manifestos, authentic experiences, and affirmations in forms of drawing, painting, photography, poetry, collage, and video.

Good Grief! is a nod to one another; a visual invitation to be in the moment, to put the thing down, to be authentic, and to come to understand.

Featured artists are Warren Beal, Tammy Beason, Danny Bolton, Icarus Crouch, Mark Curry, Allison Ford, Ozzy Graham, Miracle Hall, Lee Herin, Sabrina Jensen, Juan, Annie Lightsey, Bryan Maloy, Vanessa Monfreda, Griffin Norris, Haley Roche, Carolyn Schilling, Vicky White, and LIz Wierzbicki.

Opening Reception Friday April 26th, 2024 6-9pm

Free and Open to All

Show on display until May 31st
